Summary

Description
English: A Venn diagram of the various languages and dialects in the Konkani family, according to the ISO 639 classification. In red brackets are the ISO 639 codes. Some linguists consider the dialects of Maharashtrian Konkani to be a part of Marathi, hence a yellow line around these two. The main source is this Ethnologue entry. The classification of various dialects inside [kok] is quite subjective and can vary from source to source.

This diagram image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Konkani languages.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
