Schoolgirl Supervisor (also known as Saori Sato, Yandere Schoolgirls Online) is an originally single-player mystery game developed by Kurenai Games (Noway) in 2015. It focuses on a high-school girl Saori Sato [佐藤咲織 / Satō Saori], who works as a supervisor in Sayama Girls School. The game is free to play through the apps Yandere Schoolgirls Online (iOS) or Schoolgirl Supervisor (iOS, Android). Several APKs can be downloaded on Android.

Overview

The game was released on Google Play Store on the 22nd of December 2015. It was meant to be a mystery game, focused on solving cases while having absolute power over all students. This was the start of the long-forgotten pre-storymode era, which lasted from December 2015 (0.9000, release) to May 2016 (0.9099, rewritten storymode). A majority of the game’s early versions are lost media and cannot be found anywhere on the internet. The very first Saori Sato storyline was featured in the game's Google Play Store description. Screenshots of the game's description from that time have not resurfaced. Some traces of the very first lore has been collected from old blog entries and Facebook posts. Schoolgirl Supervisor's controls are very tricky and players have stated that it is hard to interact with objects. Schoolgirl Supervisor has a lot of features that might be confusing for new players.

Schoolgirl - Supervisor Saori Sato - Wildlife

Wildlife is only available through the App Store. The game consists of a version from 2017 (version 0.9276). The game notably has less quests than Yandere Schoolgirls Online. It was the first rebrand of the Saori Sato franchise. It introduced a lot of new quests and non-playable characters. Wildlife also contained a bunch of features that didn't make it to JP Schoolgirl Supervisor.

Yandere Schoolgirls Online

Yandere Schoolgirls Online is the iOS version of School Girl A.I and JP Schoolgirl Supervisor. When entering Yandere Schoolgirls Online the game lets you choose between two options - JP Schoolgirl Supervisor or School Girl A.I. When logging into JP, the player spawns into the censorship map, meant to protect the game from App Store's Guidelines. To enter Sayama, the player has to go to the second floor of the school and find a green teleport box.

Gameplay features

To-Do

To-Do is the place where all active and accomplished quests will appear along with tips and explanations on how to complete them.

Solution Architect

Solution Architect allows you to see every single quest in the game along with the best dialogue choices and more detailed tutorials. You can purchase it in the skills section.

Ordinary Locks

Ordinary Locks is a skill which lets you access most locked areas. It is purchasable through the skills section.

Loyalty Points

There are two versions of Loyalty Points in the game. The Loyalty Points that are visible at the top of the shop are the Schoolgirl Supervisor's in-game currency. They are obtanable via advertisements or by claiming other Loyalty Points; the Loyalty Points that are available to claim under the cloud icon are the points that are required to enter Building B. To claim them, it is necessary to create an in-game account.

Outfit++

Outfit++ is a feature which lets players upload their own custom textures for their characters.

Girls

Girls is a feature which lets players customize every non-playable character in the game.

Lua

Lua is a developer option which allows players to easily change the coding of the game and assign themselves quests. Its main purpose is testing, checking for bugs and re-doing desired quests. It can be turned on through a little white box with Lua next to it.

Clans

Clans are a feature which lets the player join different in-game groups. When joining a clan in JP Schoolgirl Supervisor, a special flag is obtainable. Clans are also visible in the leaderboard.

Jumper

Jumper is a tool which allows the player to quickly move between scenes (locations). It is discoverable through settings.

Storyline

The game takes place in Sayama Girls School. You play as a supervisor Saori Sato, who takes care of punishing the bullies. She also owns a cat Sora who follows her. For the first quest you need to go to Saori's house in Dream Village and get her essentials for school (tampons, books, her school bag, etc.) When the player arrives in the school, they must pick up their roll of duct-tape, handcuffs and blindfold. A flashlight and Supervisor Handbooks may also be helpful. After that, Saori is ready to start her first day as a supervisor. When Saori obtains a level 1 keycard, she is able to get into a room on Building B's third floor. There, she finds a previous supervisor, Akane Maki, chained up and a tray with blood on it between her legs.Akane asks for Saori Sato to not report the incident and free her instead, which Saori does with a bolt cutter. After Saori asked Akane why she was mistreated, Akane stuggested that they both play a trust game, in which Akane handcuffs and restricts Saori's movement by taping her legs to the front legs of the chair. Akane then set up a phone which sounds an alarm at an interval of 30 minutes so that Saori could keep track of time. She promised that Saori will be freed when the short sound played for 4th time. In this time, she handed a keycard to Midori Lin in a bathroom. After being freed by Midori, Saori was instructed by her to investigate the first floor of building A. There, Akane was found dead on the teacher's lectern with her head being cut off, wearing a school uniform and her right hand also holding a piece of paper with a picture of her being tortured. There are also insults directed towards her written on the instant photo, Soon after, Saori told sensei Saya Jin about Akane's death and then sets out to investigate who killed Akane. During the night shift, Akane's head was found in the crib of Saori's house.

School Girl A.I

Schoolgirl Supervisor was rebranded to Yandere Schoolgirls Online in 2024. With that, came a new game mode School Girl A.I. SGAI is a completely new franchise. Instead of a Saori Sato remake, it is a MMORPG game based on multiplayer and character customization. The characters familiar from Schoolgirl Supervisor do spawn, however they do not have any dialogue and do not play a big part in gameplay.

Special edition

Schoolgirl Supervisor special edition (also known as "Schoolgirl Supervisor Uncensored Story) is a special game file with original uncensored execution mechanisms, no ads and more money. The Special Edition we know today used to be an app until Noway began adding more weapons and executions. He always wished for more blood, more gore and dismemberation of body parts. Special edition can be downloaded via the Kurenai Games website or Noway's Patreon. The APK is free, but to use the game, a code from Noway's Patreon is necessary. The game has features such as:

- Ad-free and uncensored game experience
- Nude / Naked outfit
- All the gore with guillotine, ax chopping place , gallows and dismembering heads
- Loyalty increasement

App Store and Google Play Store TOS regulations

The game's original version caught the Play Store's attention, and not long after Noway recieved an e-mail from the Play Store. The reviewer noticed that the game features extreme school violence and potentially sexual themes. Noway refused that the game is inappropriate for the digital media store. However after multiple appeals Noway decided to make the game downloadable outside of the Google Play Store, which was a great opportunity for him to add whatever he wanted. These are the following features he planned to add:

- Sexually Explicit quests
- Panty shots
- Nude outfits
- More cruel dismemberation of body parts
- Sharing taken photos right away inside the app

However only 2 of these options would actually get implemented. Those would be Nude outfits (SE) and sharing photos right away inside the app (JP)

Controversy

Many players have accused Noway of filling the game with fetish content (excessive mentioning of periods and panties, violent schoolgirls, moaning of students), which has lead to most of the fanbase disliking Noway. He often gets enraged when players give the game criticism. Players dislike his redesigns, since they are very accessorized and no longer look like their original characters. Noway has also used his games’ multiplayer versions to get in contact with minors. A victim, Cookie-Chan has come out about Noway’s actions.

- "A few years ago, Noway, The developer of Saori Sato and Cookiechan, a fan of him and his game had a very strange relationship and he used his game to basically groom her. He would reach out to her in private. She was a minor, 13-14 while he was in his 30s-40s. She eventually disappeared from the community as she was a child being taken advantage of through a game developer. Eventually, A few players reconnected with her and she shared her story. Even if Noway wasn't weird with her, he still was very active with her and constantly having her appear in his videos when she was only 13-14. This isn't okay on so many levels. This is attempted grooming and we are glad Cookie-Chan was aware not to go forward with him when he tried to."

KKK Asset Incident

The KKK asset incident happened around 2024. Apperantly someone had made a SGAI item which in some way resembled the nationalist clan KKK. SGAI users were furious about this and immediately started reporting the asset, yet Noway said it could have been "Patrick in a ghost costume”
